13th Birthday

This is a birthday card I did for an awesome girl who just turned 13. I used one of the birthday tags I made earlier and the K&Company paper from Michael’s, I then added a couple embellishments. Hope she likes it.

Stick Pins

Ok, I came up with this idea when I had left over tags from the Stella & Rose project and left over ribbon from the Graphic 45 project. I added a jump ring to the left over tags from the Stella & Rose project and then I took the left over ribbon from the Graphic 45 project and tied it to the stick pin but before completing the knot; I add a 2nd jump ring to the ribbon connecting the tag to the ribbon. I now have 4 pre-made stick pins ready to use for future projects. Enjoy.

Grahic 45

On this project I used the Graphic 45 paper Communique Collection and a Basic Black Bazzill cardstock for the card. The actual card size is approximately 5¾” x 5”.

I added Bazzill Basic Paper flowers (various sizes) and added the Mulberry Paper Mini Roses and/or Brad bling.

I used the Martha Stewart – Daisy Punch for the Border and inked the border using the color box Chalk Brown Ink pad and added a vintage ribbon to adorn the border. I left room on the border to add a phrase or message for whatever the occasion might be. I used Happy Birthday as this card will be going to a close friend of mine on her birthday. Ooops, I hope I didn’t just spoil it! I think I am ok, only one follower.

Stella & Rose - My Minds Eye

On this project the paper I used is by Stella & Rose – My Minds Eye Mabel papers 6x6 pad. The flowers are Bazzill Basic Papers and the brads are from the same line Stella and Rose decorative brads.

My most recent find that I love are the Mulberry Paper Mini Roses by Recollections @ Michaels. They are so cute and easy to use, I love - love - love the simplicity yet elegance of this flower. Cute! Cute! Cute! And “Cute” ALWAYS gets me in trouble just ask any of my friends. It’s my saying.

I added a tag using the “George & Basic Shapes” Cricut Cartridge pg. 102. The tags were cut at 1” and 1¼” and can be used to add your own message. Added some decorative ribbon and inked the edges. The actual size of these cards is approximately 4¾” x 6½”.

Tags for any occasion

These cute little tags were fun, easy and can be made ahead of time for any occasion.

It seems I always need something for a birthday so I used birthday paper by fine and dandy – Jen Allyson for my tags and the Basic Grey paper Doilies for the back mat. The tag is from K & Company Wild Saffron Die Cut cardstock tags. I added a paper flower with a brad bling and used my CROP-A-DILE to set the eyelet and added ribbon.

Of course you can put whatever message on the tag that would fit your occasion. Happy Birthday, Thank you, Friends, Thinking of you…..you get the message. The actual size of this tag is approximately
2½” x 3½”.
